Guidelines for Admitting Foreign Students

KCNP, as one of the Regional TVET Institutions under the East Africa Skills for Transformation and Regional Integration Project (EASTRIP), is required to have regional student enrolment in both short-term and long-term priority programmes as part of effort to foster regional integration. We have therefore developed guidelines for admitting foreign students with an application form tailored to foreign students. We have also developed an advert document for recruiting foreign students

KCNP is partnering with Northern Corridor Transit and Transport Coordination Authority (NCTTCA) to enroll foreign student’s Certificate in Shipping Management Course. NCTTCA is an intergovernmental body encompassing six countries in Eastern Africa that coordinates transport infrastructure improvements.

We have so far enrolled thirty five (35) regional students of which thirteen (13) are female while twenty two (22) are male. With regard to their nationalities, thirteen (13) are Ugandans, seven (7) are Tanzanians and the remaining fifteen (15) are South Sudanese.
